Our Senior Pastor:

Hunter & Chrissy Mizar met in Anchorage, AK. They dated through high school and married after their first year of college. They both graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in 2000. Hunter’s degree was in Religious Education, and Chrissy’s was in Business Administration. They have two children, Emma (age 10) and Josh (age 6).
Worship, youth and children’s ministries, and missions are very important to the Mizar family. They feel that the church is the extension of God’s hands on earth, and the church should be reaching out to the community to reach the lost. The church should be warm and welcoming, making visitors feel comfortable and at home.
For fun, the Mizar family enjoys music, basketball, and being in nature. Hunter & Josh especially enjoy sports, and Chrissy & Emma especially enjoy reading. The family is excited to see what direction God leads in the coming weeks.
World Missions:
- Praying: Interceding for leaders and churches and for the Holy Spirit to draw all people to Christ.
- Discipling: Mentoring and involving all people, including youth and children, to make Christlike disciples in the nations.
- Giving: Devoting ourselves and our resources, including World Evangelism Fund, to extend Christ’s kingdom.
- Educating: Helping local churches tell the mission story. We provide resources and support for the local church as it informs and educates its members, not only in what other Nazarenes are doing in mission, but how they can get involved, too.
